Red Wine by Bodegas Conde from Ribera del Duero, Spain. The 2006 Neo Sentido is 100% Tempranillo aged in a mix of new and used French and American oak for 8 months and bottled without fining or filtration. Purple-colored, it exhibits aromas of cedar, spice box, pencil lead, and blackberry. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, the wine reveals some tasty, spicy fruit, good balance, and a moderately long, pure finish. Give it 2-3 years to blossom more fully and drink it through 2020.
