These are followed by a typically firm but fine-grained tannin extended texture overlaying soft plum which deceptively disguises the rich powerful cassis and blackcurrant flavors. The emphasis is on powerful full-bodied varietal fruit flavor integrated with barrel fermented and oak matured characters falling into the cedary, smokey and cashew spectrum.
